This is a Traditional House Dress Baati with a waist belt on the inside. This Traditional House Dress is known as a Baati in Somali, Kaftan among Arab cultures and Meski in the Bengali community. It is a full length dress that's loose and although very simply cut, often covers to top shoulder/arm area. It is perfect for wearing around the home as it covers the Awrah perfectly if there are children/siblings around. As it's loose in fit it's super comfortable during that time of the month and whilst doing house work etc. As you know we love to make everything even better, so these dresses usually come in a one size fits all size. So we are bringing them to you in exact height size just like Abayas! And what's even more exciting, is that this particular Baati has an inside waist belt. The waist belt is optional, so you can wear the Baati loose as usual or with the belt. And if you're a regular wearer you may have noticed how easily the stitches rip, well we've done our research! And whilst most manufacturers may use the cheapest thread, we have opted for the best and strongest for durability. Our beautiful lightweight cotton blend fabric is sourced locally in Pakistan, this means patterns and designs will change often. So if you find a pattern you love be sure to grab it as it won't last long and may not return!
