This is our long overdue Prayer Abaya with an attached Scarf. This is the classic Saudi style prayer dress thats been used across many muslim countries for Salah. A great start to older girls prayer routine or as a gift for when they first start praying. These are every Muslimahs essential piece and are often used by sisters as an emergency cover to answer the door, unexpected visitors and ofcourse for Salah. Super convenient! These Prayer Abayas have always been available in very colourful patterned fabric. So our team went above and beyond to find that same lightweight fabric but in a plain version. A plain garment and mat are advised to avoid distraction during Salah. The cuffs are our Classic elastic cuffs that are durable. We also made sure to make the attached scarf on the larger side to allow for good chest coverage. This Abaya also has a front zip on the chest. The burgundy fabric we have used is very lightweight and cotton-like to the touch, the Mocha fabric is very similar but slightly more softer and linen-like. This particular listing is a right handed version, so the long side of the scarf is on the right side. This makes it more convenient for left-handed mother to wrap the scarf for the girls or if the girls are right-handed. If you prefer a left-handed version click here. Each size is accurate and no extra length has been added to the bottom, we therefore recommend getting at least 1 or 2 sizes up from your usual size so that the prayer dress covers your feet.
