This is a medium length Layered Diamond Khimar. This is the alternative to hijab and Jilbab. It is ideal if you like good coverage but prefer to wear lightweight garments from the head. Because the Khimar is made from layers of chiffon it is not transparent but is still lighter than a Jilbab. To secure the khimar there are 2 tie straps inside which you tie behind your head just as you would a jilbab. This modest attire piece comes with 2 thinner tie straps, for an optional integrated Niqab. As you can see in the picture the neck is rounded designed to cover the neck. *Some parts of the Khimar that consist of 2 layers of fabric have been triple layered in the white colour to ensure opaqueness such as the headband and front layer.
