This is our Peacock Jewel Diamond Khimar in the short size. It is also great alternative to the Hijab and Jilbab. This Teal Green Diamond Khimar is ideal if you don't like to fuss around with hijab styles and pins. Because it is made from 1 layer of Nida fabric it is not transparent. The short length makes it very lightweight and puts less pressure on the head. To secure the khimar there are 2 tie straps inside which you tie behind your head just as you would a jilbab. As you can see in the picture the neck is rounded designed to cover the neck. There are also 2 additional slim straps which allow you to lift the under neck fabric over the face to create an optional niqab, these straps can also be used to tighter the under neck area if needed. The lightweight and sheen from the Nidha fabric makes this Khimar suitable for hot weather or a special occasion. Alternatively this Khimar is also available in many other colours like Dusty Pink, Mauve, Khaki and of course the classic Black.
